Dr Samantha Kesting
After graduating with a distinction in paediatrics from the University of Pretoria, Samantha spent her internship and community service developing her passion for caring for children. She then spent three years in London working in general paediatrics, neonates and paediatric surgery in amongst others Great Ormond Street Hospital.
On her return to South Africa she specialised as a paediatrician and completed her Masters in Medicine and Fellowship of the College of Paediatricians. She spent an additional three years working exclusively with newborns to subspecialise as a neonatologist at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital.
She specialises in the management of high risk and ill newborns as well as their neurodevelopmental follow up and screening for complications.
